Chicken

Our meat chickens are raised in mobile coops on pasture and moved to a fresh patch of grass daily. The chickens are fed organic feed in addition to all the grass, seeds, clover, worms and bugs they can find. We slaughter all of our poultry ourselves right on the farm. We take pride in doing this job in the most humane way possible.  We sell our chickens whole for $5.25/lb. They are available fresh on the farm on specific dates.

For 2012 fresh chicken will be available on:

• April 2 & 23
• May 21
• June 11
• July 2
• August 13 & 27
• September 10 & 24

Please contact us to order a fresh chicken, as we only slaughter a given number each day.  Frozen chickens can also be picked up from the farm any time, just contact us to arrange a visit.
