Pork

The introduction of pigs onto our farm in 2009 proved to be a valuable part of our attempt to create a farm ecosystem and produce our products in the most sustainable manner possible. Our pigs are raised primarily on raw cow’s milk, grains, bread, and pasture. And, being voracious omnivores, we supplement their diets with extra vegetables, fallen apples, acorns, and very nutritious poultry hearts, necks, fat, and heads left over from the chickens, and turkeys we process here on the farm. In this way the pigs are able to turn what otherwise would have been “waste” products into great tasting meat.


We sell pork by the quarter, half or whole animal. Our next pork will be available in the late Summer and Fall of 2012. Please contact us for more information.
